Students who successfully complete this training will be able to use the English language to satisfy basic survival needs in the community and workplace in a limited range of familiar and routine situations. They will require supportive and sympathetic environments for effective participation in social and employment-related activities.
Certificate II in English Proficiency
Students who successfully complete this training will be able to use the English language to satisfy essential social and workplace needs in a range of familiar and predictable situations. They will be able to participate in other preparatory courses, including broad-based general education and entry level workplace training.
Certificate III and IV in English Proficiency
Students who successfully complete this trainingwill have acquired English language skills which will offer them a range offurther study and career opportunities. A genuine focus is placed on English needed for business and academic purposes. Overseas educated students will be in a position to seekemployment in their trade or profession at a levelcommensurate with their previous employment ortraining, while those aiming to do further tertiary level studies will have the necessary English language skills and a pathway to do so.
Certificate I, II and III: 18 weeks - $200 per week
Certificate II and III: both 12 or 15 weeks- $200 per week
