General English - Non Student Visa

General English has been delivered by English in Paradise since 2001 and is available to students with working holiday and tourist visas. These courses cover grammar, reading & writing and speaking & listening.

General English is for those students wanting to learn practical English language skills for everyday situations with a strong focus on conversation.

Students are immersed in an English speaking environment to rapidly develop new skills while improving on existing ones. Emphasis is placed on growing a student’s confidence by giving them plenty of opportunity to speak English in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Reading and writing skills are developed to assist students with career and further education goals.

Course Outline

8:30am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday

Monday and Tuesday – Studying Certificate level English with multi-national students to improve proficiency.

Wednesday and Thursday – Small class working on conversation abilities and practical "real world" English skills.

Friday – Student projects & presentations, group activities and media studies.

Fees

Materials: 1 to 4 weeks: AUD $20, 5 to 17 weeks: AUD $50

Application: AUD $150

Tuition: AUD $250 per week
