CERTIFICATE IV in TESOL (RPL)
EIP GROUP as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) has the ability to recognise existing skills and competencies to aid in attaining various qualifications.Recognition of Prior Learning is one way that you can have your current skills and knowledge assessed by an RTO to see if they meet today’s industry standards. Current or recent work experience is needed to provide evidence for the assessment process.
RPL may provide you with a full or partial qualification and/or identify what training you need to complete your qualification.
RPL takes two forms:
Credit Transfer – This is where previous studies allow you to gain credit for one or more complete units of competency.
Recognition Assessment – Here an EIP GROUP assessor will help you to demonstrate your work skills and knowledge through interviews, workplace observation and third party reports from managers/supervisors.
The assessor will then make a judgement as to whether you have reached
the required industry competency standard for a particular unit of competency.
At this point any gaps in your skills or knowledge can be identified and any
further training advised.
Fees – The fees for RPL are generally cheaper than other forms of delivery
as there are no material charges attached to the enrolment. Fees are determined at the time of application.
If you are interested in RPL for qualifications EIP GROUP is currently
delivering or have any questions don’t hesitate to contact the Director of Studies, Robert Ivey.
